After 15 years of dedicated service, Father Gary Strubel, vicar at All Saints Church, is leaving to take a well-deserved sabbatical. Fr. Gary is “bi-vocational” which means he has a full-time job in addition to serving at our Church. He is now also taking courses for professional advancement in his “regular” job, and, well, there just aren’t enough hours in the day for all that.
Our Parish has been uniquely blessed to have had the same Priest for such a long time! But we know that, while the Lord brings comfort to the afflicted, it’s sometimes necessary to “bring affliction to the comfortable.” As we sadly bid adieu to our friend, counselor, and priest, the All Saints’ family will look to the coming changes with optimism, in sure faith that God has a plan for us. As Fr. Gary often reminds us, in Jesus, we are assured a Dignity, Hope and Meaning that transcends the challenges of this life.
We wish Gary and his family all good things for the future. We praise God for the many blessings of these past 15 years. And we thank you, Fr. Gary for your dedication to the All Saints family. You will be missed!
PS We have a schedule of supply priests that will be posted shortly.
